About me

Erik van de Blaak

Programming since 1996

Software that is logically put together, easy to maintain and pleasant to use.

I have been a full-stack developer at CareerValue BV in Arnhem since 2010, and since 2024 also an AI Solutions Engineer and researcher. I started with Delphi, FoxPro and ToolBook, worked for years with Macromedia Flash and ActionScript, and have been a PHP developer since 2008.

Besides software development I am a graphic maker and animator: drawing, painting, computer art and experimental animation. That background shows in how I build software. I pay attention to composition, hierarchy, timing and interaction.
